“Just got back from ten nights at The Lindos Blu with Thomson. Excellent hotel in a beautiful part of The World. Only complaints are the main pool which was cold and also the flight times to Rhodes – why always such late flights?. We, like many other guests I think didn’t have evening meals at The Lindos Blu  as Lindos offers so many nice rooftop restaurants. I’m sure it’s better value booking half board in advance though so worth thinking about”

Lindos Sun Hotel is a great base for a holiday in Lindos the bus stop to Lindos stops right outside the hotel and is a short journey away as is Pefkos. St Pauls Bay church is 800 metres from the hotel. The Hotel Lindos Sun offers an inviting swimming pool on site in a picturesque setting with sea views to the front and mountain to the back.

Rooms at the Lindos Sun Hotel are simple but with some nice touches such as a good bathroom, and balcony or terrace. Air conditioning all year round and daily maid service. For anyone with their own laptop or ipod touch wi-fi is available in the reception.

“I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is super clean and the rooms have air conditioning, complimentary mini bar, a small balcony, large bathroom with bidet and hair dryer, flat screen and a telephone. The staff was super friendly at the reception – our air conditioning was broken, 1 call to the front desk and in 5 minutes, the technician was there to fix it. The hotel had AI. My wife and I were very satisfied, the food was good, buffet style, meat (beef, pork, lamb, chicken), fish, salads, vegetables, fruit, cake, ice cream.
For breakfast, fried brekkie as well as fresh fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt etc. It’s a well maintained complex with 3 pools to the shingle beach with crystal clear water.”

This spacious hotel, decorated in the style of a Greek village hotel complex comprises a main building and nine detached houses with three floors making it rustic in appearance but therefore unsuitable for the less mobile. The complex is located in a small private bay with it’s own sandy beach. Only a few steps from the hotel there is a bus stop by the 4 kilometers to reach the remote town of Lindos.

Lindian Village Hotel situated directly at the idyllic beach of Lardos is built as a miniature of a Greek village, with elegant but luxurious style and is located within a large area with Mediterranean flowers and trees, small streams and little lakes. The natural meeting place is the Hometown Square with its restaurants, a small chapel and smaller stores. The classic Greek blue and white houses are surrounded by well maintained gardens and paved footpaths. The Lindian Village has not less than five different restaurants offering genuine Greek food as well as international cuisine (including Thai and seafood). The hotel looks wonderful lit up by night.

In addition to the large outdoor pool with children’s pool and sun terrace there is also a heated indoor pool. The hotel offers relaxation in the form of a spa with various treatments and jacuzzi available. Sporting activities such as tennis and a fitness room are other options if you’re feeling active.

“A long drive from the airport but well worth it, were met on arrival by a welcome drink and whisked to our room on a golf buggy. Very chic resort with day beds on the beach and very well laid out in terms of privacy of the rooms, access to pools, restaurant etc. We are now firm fans of the south of Rhodes and would love to come back. On the downside the spa treatments and  restaurants are very expensive so consider going half board or hiring a car and eating out!”
